Despite decades in the business, H&K ran on tools and habits that predated any centralized system. Inventory counts, sales figures, and production numbers lived in separate places, updated inconsistently through spreadsheets. There was no single figure anyone could point to and trust. Teams routinely worked from numbers that were outdated, incomplete, or simply wrong.

We built Nexus to fix that; The software pulls in drone-based inventory counts, sales data, and production numbers, then strips out anything that hasn't been verified. Following that, the information is organized on a dashboard that anyone from any background can easily understand. This allows employees to pull up current numbers from their phone or laptop instead of tracking someone down and asking.

In one week, H&K moved all production reporting off Excel and onto a mobile-friendly web app with adoption hitting nearly 100%. Superintendents now submit reports from any internet-connected device, check dashboards in real time, and export data directly. Automated calculations and a human-in-the-loop approval step cut reporting errors close to zero and ended manual file distribution and consolidation.
